Glitter mesh top and animal print with Femme Luxe*

Femme Luxe is not a brand I’d thought about before. I’m always sceptical of brands that are online only when you are never sure of how good the quality will be when it arrives. Shein is a crucial example of this, but the prices are so little you expect the quality you get. It’s not just the quality of the fabric or sizing, but sometimes something will turn up looking nothing like what you pictured online. Some people enjoy this, part of the gamble you take with online shopping.

I bit the bullet and found a lot more on the FemmeLuxe site that I was excited by than I thought. I love experimenting with things that don’t fit my usual style or somewhere in which I’m not their target customer and seeing if I can make it mine and that’s what I’ve done.

To me, Femeluxe is the perfect place to go for clothes purely for nights out and clothes totally in keeping with all the trends we’ve seen come out of Love Island which I’m guilty of being influenced by more than I ever thought.
The first item that’s grabbed my attention on their website is this black glitter long sleeve mesh top. What’s also lush about this particular one is the glitter running through which means it can uplift any fail-safe night out outfit, even perfect with jeans because it’s got a bit of sparkle. A staple in my wardrobe I love wearing them in the most revealing way with a cute bralette on show. They also work amazingly layered underneath a dress, as I did in this blog post.

I wore this for my friend’s birthday BBQ styled in my go-to way for a night out. Some animal print this time in the shape of a mini denim skirt paired with my trusty Nike Air maxes. I can’t remember the last time I wore heels for a night out. It’s never worth the pain if you ask me.
