I am just writing a short post to wish you all well, show my decorations and to talk about what Christmas means to me.

Now Christmas means something different to everyone but it can get so over commercialised in this materialistic world we live in. My religion isn’t something I talk about much on my blog but what ever I believe that we should all think back to the real meaning of Christmas. I read a blog post the other week about someone’s favourite Christmas films and she described the Polar Express as ‘reminding me of the real meaning of Christmas’ I haven’t watched the particular film in many years but it struck a cord with me as it is not at all related to why we actually celebrate Christmas. I am sure you all know the nativity story so I wont go into detail but whether you go to church in the morning, watch a carol service on TV or light a candle for Jesus’ birth just remember why we have this wonderful holiday in the first place.
