Hi guys, my journey into a skincare obsession has only recently begun. I am slowly learning lots about my skin and products so I’ve already learnt that a great way to try as many products cheaply is beauty boxes. I tried M&S’s summer beauty box last year and a few years back I won the beauty advent calendar and both of those were so amazing to get to try products out and most of the products I still use regularly are from those boxes. However, a lot of the boxes I see people talk about are still like £70 plus which for me I still couldn’t invest that on products I may not like.
Last week I spotted a Beauty box on Next, a shop I didn’t even realise made beauty boxes. It’s meant to be for mothers day but sorry mum this is all for me. The main thing that dragged me in was the price, it’s an amazing £18 – the first product I could see included I’ve been wanting to buy for a while now and its £15 so I took no hesitation to order.

Priced at only £18 it was going to be hard to not be worth the money but I am so impressed. Between the Marks summer beauty box (which is £15 on top of a £40 in-store spend) and a few birchboxes I can hands down say this is the best one I’ve tried. The box is tiny but the amount of products is insane, I’m yet to actually fit them all back inside and it was like a never-ending box pulling products out.

If you are into your skincare more than me you might not find it as excited as most of the products are small / sample sizes – I love this though to try really expensive products I wouldn’t normally try.

Inside you get an Elemis Pro-Collagen Rose Cleansing Balm (20g), Benefit Badgal Bang! Mascara Mini, Origins Mega Mushroom Treatment Lotion (30ml), Pixi Glow Tonic (100ml), By Terry Baume de Rose (3g), L’Occitane Cherry Blossom Shower Gel (35ml), Dr Botanicals Moroccan Rose Facial Oil (15ml), Rituals The Ritual of Sakura Foaming Shower Gel (50ml), Vita Liberata Beauty Blur (10ml), Nuxe Creme Prodigieuse Boost Gel Cream (15ml), Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream (7ml) and Oh K! Bubble Sheet Mask.

I am most excited to try the Elemis rose cleansing balm, I love a cleansing balm and this smells amazing – also a great size. The product I mentioned I had already been wanting is the Pixi glow tonic which is so highly raved about. By Terry lip balm as By Terry is one of those luxurious brands I’d never normally get to own. Cherry blossom is a beautiful scent so two shower gels one from L’Occitane and the other from Rituals, two brands I’ve heard such amazing things about. I’ve also really got into facial oils and treatments recently so I am excited about the Dr Botanicals facial oil and Origins treatment.
I can honestly say I will use every single one of these products so for £18 I am over the moon. Unfortunately getting this post out in the four days since it arrived wasn’t speedy enough and its sold out already (check here in case it comes back in stock) but let’s all keep an eye out for the next bargain box from Next I think.
What’s the best beauty box you recommend I try next?
