Graphic Knitwear – Trend 101

January 24, 2021

Hey guys, I’ve spoken a lot over the years about my love for a simple jumper and jeans looks in the winter yet they can get tiresome. This season graphic knits have been everywhere and I hope this trend doesn’t go anywhere soon. If you get yourself one printed jumper it will make this cosy outfits just that little bit more extra.

Jumper – Urban Gap Brand | Coat – New Look | Trousers – Bershka

I went for the oh so famous sheep jumper. This has become an icon of British knitwear. First designed by Warm & Wonderful in 1979 and made famous when Princess Diana repeatedly worn it, styled so fabulously with collars. Last year the brand Rowing Blazers recreated it and in fast fashion style, it was everywhere the likes of Zara, Urban gap brand and more made their own replicas. It took off partly due to the nod to 80s Diana (helped by season four of Netflix’s The Crown) but also the style maverick Harry Styles rocked similar styles and a sweater vest version and like everything he wears the world went crazy for.

Treat your graphic knitwear the exact same as all your other jumpers, they work with jeans, leather trousers, skirts – with a collar shirt underneath or a turtle neck top when its super cold – boots or trainsers – it just makes these usual winter outfits a bit more fun.

Here I’ve linked a few more fun graphic jumpers I am loving.
