I recently completed a short fashion course at my college as a extra circular class. I drew up a design in the first class, then in pairs we measured each other. I then created a bodice pattern from scratch. Next I created the bodice in calico. Once I purchased my beautiful fabrics, a purple satin and a black lace I put all my skills into practise. For the corset I used rigilene instead of boning witch is just a less stiff boning for corsets, I hand sewed a zip on the back with invisible stitching and there is a netting under layer and a third layer of lining.

omg how amazing! this was your first work and it came out so well! i'm jealous, i don't think i could ever do something like this. so so cool! i bet you are so proud of yourself, you should be!!
