Top Tip Tuesday: DIY tinted moisturiser

Hey guys,
After my top tip post last week on how to make your own gel eyeliner (read it here) I thought I would start a new series called “top tip Tuesday” full of different simple tips these maybe DIYs or discounts I want to share with you or anything! Let me know in the comments if there is anything you think I could include in this series.

So this weeks top tip is another DIY.
I recently discovered a brilliant easy way to make your own tinted moisturiser.
All you need is:

 
 
 
I decided to us my old Clinique moisturiser because I had loads left so only used half for a tinted moisturiser and I still have some left. I love this moisturiser because it feels so natural and it is SPF 15 which is always re- assuring.
 
 
 
I am using the collection 2000 pressed powder because it is too light  and doesn’t work with my foundation very well anymore but apart from that I love it, I find it really easy to blend.
 
I had just run of my trusty carmex so I decided to us out my carmex lip balm pot and use this. Plus carmex pots are so handbag friendly that its perfect for a small pot of tinted moisturiser.
 
 
 
First thing you must do using the top end of the teaspoon (the handle) carefully break up the pressed powder into very very VERY lose pigments.
Then using the spoon you must spoon out some of the moisturiser into your empty and clean pot , just spoon until the pot is not quite full.
Next you pour or spoon the broken up powder into you new moisturiser pot and mix and stir until all of the tiny grains of foundation are gone.
 
 
 
You are now ready to use your new tinted moisturiser! This is so easy and effective! let me know in the comments if you try this and what you think! m
