Autumnal Florals

Hey Guys,

Yesterday loads of us #welshbloggers (@welshbloggers_ on twitter attended an event set up by Joe Bloggers called #coffeewithcurrys more on that in a post later in the week but here is what I wore to the event. Once again its been too long since my last outfit post.

(only one I got with the leather jacket soz for bad lighting)

Leather jacket - Select
Dress - River island
Tights - Primark
Boots - Deichmann

I got this dress like 3 years ago in the January sales but I still year it a lot every Autumn winter. I love the colours and the floral pattern without being too girlie. Personally I feel it sums up my style. Teamed with the leather jacket, classic super cosy tights from primark and ankle boots its the perfect autumn day outfit that's once again not casual yet not formal either.

Hope you enjoyed this outfit post. Thanks for reading.

The cheapest cleaser and makeup remover you'll ever buy!

Hey Guys,

Sorry I have been a bit MIA recently and not blogging as much as I'd like. I just have a quick thrifty post for you all today and its one I have been meaning to do for awhile.
A few months ago (about June) I picked this up on whim in Tesco's as I needed a new one and we are on a tight budget. I wasn't expecting much and honestly its not amazing. It claims to be a cleanser and eye make up remover. I was apprehensive about the eye make up remover and rightly so it does struggle to remove mascara but apart from that it does exactly what it says on the tube. The only other con is it can be pretty runny.

It lasts for ages I have been using it every other day since I got it in June and there is loads left, its s well loved (which you can tell by how grubby the tube is with make up)

(excuse the terrible photo I think this natural lighting in winter will be the end of me)

Time for the exciting bit the price it only cost me £1.50. You can find it online here.
So whether you are tight, a student or a busy mum. And those of you who still use make up wipes this is a great way to try a cleanser without jumping in the deep end.
For 80p I really suggest you pick this up while on your weekly food shop.

I hope you enjoyed this. Also this is kinda irrelevant but if you read my blog regularly say hi in the comment and if your from outside the U.K (I lot of you are according to my stats) I was wondering if anyone you be up for doing a beauty box swap please say hi.

Dresses for the party season with George*

Hey Guys,
Sorry I haven't been posting this week. I have had so much going on with my family my nan is in hospital so we have been looking after Grampi then I had one of my best friends 18th birthdays so we celebrated that which was one of the best nights of my life. I go back to college tomorrow and I have so much work still left to do so I hope this isn't too rushed.
I was recently contacted by George* at Asda to take about their new line of dresses and of course I said yes. I am always pleasantly surprised by the clothes in supermarkets and the George range is always so good.
I have picked two dresses one perfect for the Christmas party season which will soon be upon us and one perfect for those autumn days.

I just love this dress. Two of my favourite things when it comes to clothes lace and purple. Would you believe it only costs £20?  I just looks so flattering and stylish. Its such a simple yet stand out dress so I kept the accessories simple with these cute black heels also from George with a comfortable looking heal and a simple necklace that will sit comfortably on the V-Neck of the dress. The will look beautiful with black tights and some stand out sparkly eye make up.

This amazing dress is from George's graduate range which is great as its supporting new designers. This is at the top of my wish list is just amazing I have never seen such a sophisticated take on the paint splat print. The 3/4 length sleeves are perfect for this weather and the little collar is to die for. It can be dressed up or down for a party, a meal or with chunky tights and those cute boots for an autumn walk. This season is all about the darker tones and this is the perfect monochrome outfit.

I hope you have enjoyed this post. Let me know which out of the two dresses you love in the comments? You can check out all the dresses in their collection here

I will try and keep on top of blogging but I still have a lot going on so there may not be more than one post a week for awhile sorry.
